GetNetworkInfo finds every device connected to your home or office network and tells you what it is. Click Scan and the program lists each device with its IP address, name, MAC address, manufacturer, device type, response time, open ports and UPnP model: your router, computers, phones and tablets, smart TVs, game consoles, printers, IP cameras, NAS drives, smart speakers and smart home gadgets.

Devices are discovered with a fast ARP scan of the whole subnet, so even a phone or PC whose firewall blocks ping is found. Sleeping devices are added from the Windows ARP cache and shown in gray, while your router and this computer are highlighted. Scan the subnet of your adapter automatically or type any range, such as 192.168.1.0/24 or 192.168.1.10-50.

Each device is identified with a combination of methods: the manufacturer from the built-in IEEE registry of more than 54,000 MAC address blocks (updatable with one click), names from DNS, NetBIOS and mDNS / Bonjour, model and serial number from UPnP, open TCP ports, the title of its web interface and an operating system guess from ping. Randomized private Wi-Fi addresses of phones and laptops are recognized. All of it is combined into a device type, and Device Details explains why.

The Network window shows your own settings: computer name, IP addresses, gateway, DNS and DHCP servers, MAC address, link speed, Wi-Fi network name, signal and channel, plus your public IPv4 and IPv6 address.

Open a router or printer web page in your browser, copy IP and MAC addresses, choose which of the 16 columns to show, and export the list to CSV or print it to keep a history of your network. Every identification method and timeout can be adjusted in Settings.
